Celta Vigo step up talks for Real Madrid's Garcia

Celta Vigo hope to wrap up the signing of Real Madrid midfielder Pablo Garcia today.

Celta chief Felix Carnero will hold talks with Real sports director Predrag Mijatovic about wrapping up the Uruguay international's transfer.

Celta want to take Garcia on a season-long loan with Real sharing part of his wages. However, the Madrid club would prefer an outright sale in the region of £1 million.

Meanwhile, Carnero is also seeking buyers for striker Javi Guerrero, who has fallen out with coach Fernando Vazquez and not training with the first team.
