Celta Vigo's Lotina: Draw has done great damage to Real Madrid

Celta Vigo trainer Miguel Lotina Angel admitted last night's 1-1 draw with Real Madrid will have done "great damage" to their title aspirations.

Celta took a first-half lead through veteran Alexander Mostovoi before Raul's equalizer midway through the second-half.

Afterwards, Lotina said, "For Real Madrid, who are chasing the title, this result has done them great damage."

"Defensively, we played very well in the first-half, but didn't create many chances because we rushed our passing."

"In the second-half, I admit it was all Real Madrid. We struggled to hold onto the ball, they have so many great players."

"If we did not defend as well as we did, Celta could easily have conceded three or four goals."
