Celta join race for Cambiasso

Celta Vigo have joined the list of clubs that are hoping to sign Real Madrid midfielder Esteban Cambiasso before the new season.

The 20-year-old Argentinian has been put on the market by Real for $US 7.2m, however, the club want to retain a portion of the player's rights, so they can buy him back at a future date should they so wish.

Cambiasso is regarded as the star item in Real's summer sale, and the player has been inudated with offers. Bayern Munich have long been admirers of the player and the latest club to show an interest for "Cuchu" Cambiasso are River Plate. But Cambiasso's father pointed out that the only way his son would end up at River Plate would be on loan.

Cambiasso is hoping to reach a solution to his dilemma as soon as possible.
