Cech reveals Real Madrid, Barcelona, Arsenal interest

Barcelona and Real Madrid have been linked with Rennes goalkeeper Petr Cech.

The 21 year-old Czech Republic international will be sold by his French club at the end of the season and has revealed he almost joined Barca over the summer.

"I know that Barca tried to sign me in June before they decided on Recber Rustu," said Cech.

"Arsenal was interested in me, but Rennes made a better offer."

"I want to play for an important club. Lazio are interested and Real Madrid have also spoken with my agent."

"It doesn't matter what country I play in. The important thing is that it is for an important club which is challenging for trophies."
