Casillas: Real Madrid not taking title for granted

Despite victory over Racing Santander last night, Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas insists no-one inside the dressing room is taking the championship for granted.

Real are now ten points clear of second-place Villarreal after their 2-0 win over Racing and Casillas maintained afterwards: "We are not close to the title and I am not going to say that it is already won."

"We are not taking this Liga title for granted. We are going to finish the season with joy, but without falling into euphoria."

"It is important to recognise that we have been leaders for virtually the entire season, yet there were many who didn't believe we could win the championship. We must wrap up this title as quickly as we can so everyone can celebrate it."
