Casillas: Real Madrid doesn't rely on Ronaldo

Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas insists they do not rely on Ronaldo for their success.
 
The Brazilian's future could be tied to tomorrow night's game against Arsenal as doubts persist over whether coach Juan Roman Lopez Caro will play him from the start.

For his part, Casillas says: "I understand the work of the press, but we must win with or without Ronaldo, with or without Iker, with or without Pavón... The squad is very strong."

"Controversy can be created, and I understand this. But in the derby we won 2-1. This is Madrid and, if one does not play there are others who can. The other day Cassano played and scored."

"There is nobody who is essential here. Real Madrid is bigger than any player, trainer, or president."
