The 19-year-old 'keeper has been picked as the best newcomer to the game in 2001 by Italian magazine, 'Guerin Sportivo', who will award the player with the Bravo Trophy.
The ceremony will take place on June 17, the date of the final league match of the season and also the day when Real Madrid entertain Valladolid at the Bernabeu.
Casillas will be joined at the prizegiving ceremony by Real Madrid's Sports Director Emilio Butragueno.
