Casillas coy over new Real Madrid deal

Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas was coy yesterday when asked about reports that he had agreed terms over a new contract.

Casillas' current deal expires at the end of this season and it's understood he verbally agreed a new contract with president Florentino Perez on Friday during a dinner meeting.

"I say to you the same as always when I speak on this subject," said Casillas. "I am a Madridista and my intention is to continue with Real Madrid and to finish my career here."

"In this sense nothing has changed. I am calm as always."
