Casillas: 60% chance of staying with Real Madrid

Iker Casillas rates the chances of signing a new contract with Real Madrid at only "60 per cent".
 
The goalkeeper's current deal expires in the summer and he could sign a pre-contract with a European rival from January 1. Arsenal and Chelsea have been linked with Casillas in the last month.

"At this moment I believe that I have a sixty per cent chance of staying with Real Madrid," said Casillas. "It is important we have more talks, but my desire is to stay."

"I don't know why things have taken so long. But it does not worry me that January arrives and in theory I can negotiate with other clubs - because I've already said that my desire is to stay here."
