Carlos Waiting To Discuss New Deal

Real Madrid full-back Roberto Carlos is still waiting for the club to begin negotiations over his new contract.

"It's true that I have still not received a call from the leadership about renewing my contract," said the Brazilian whose current deal expires in 2004.

"But they are calm and I am happy playing for Real Madrid. The moment will arrive to discuss my extension."
