Capello pushes Real Madrid to close Ribery deal

Real Madrid will launch a bid for Olympique Marseille wing ace Franck Ribery this week.

Telemadrid says Real coach Fabio Capello is pushing to have a deal for the France international wrapped up as quickly as possible.

Ribery declared last week his intention to quit Marseille and is a confirmed target for Ligue 1 rivals Lyon.
