Capello on Real Madrid defeat: Best we've played

Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello insists he was happy with his players, despite yesterday's defeat by Celta Vigo.

"We lost because we gave two gifts, both goals, to Celta," said Capello. "Later, Celta only shot once and we have had many chances to score. This is football."

"We have played a very good game. I liked it a lot and I have said this to the team. It is the first time that I really liked how we played, but it is important to take your chances and not to give away gift goals."

On Ronaldo's performance alongside Ruud van Nistelrooy, Capello added: "I liked them as a pair. I believe this can be the long-term partnership. Absolutely. They worked together very well."
