Capello blasts Real Madrid boo-boys over Emerson

Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello has hit out at the Santiago Bernabeu boo-boys for targeting midfielder Emerson.

The Brazilian was again the subject of whistles and boos from the home fans during last night's 0-0 draw with Real Betis and afterwards Capello snapped: "I do not understand this because all our players need support. They have taken it upon themselves to work against him and they boo him when entering the field and when he controls his first ball."

Capello also had words of sympathy for David Beckham after his late dismissal: "This season we have had little support from the referees. It seems to me that it was a late tackle from Beckham and the referee rushed with the red card. I have seen it on television and it does not seem to me such a serious tackle. I am sure that at the Bernabeu the referees do not help us."
