Capello: Ancelotti needs time at Real Madrid

Former Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello has jumped to the defence of Carlo Ancelotti.

Real boss Ancelotti is under pressure after a poor start to the season.

"Ancelotti needs time," Capello, who bossed the Spanish giants during two separate stints, told El Primer Toque. "The players need to understand his football."

"However, I am certain that Real Madrid are the favourites for the Champions League."
