Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo has been spending time on holiday with Real Madrid defender Fabio Cannavaro.

The Sun says the pair became friends after meeting while holidaying on the Italian island of Capri - and defender Cannavaro has been telling Manchester United winger Ronaldo why he should join Real.

Ronaldo, who has a new Italian girlfriend, dined with Cannavaro as their yachts were moored by each other.
