Canales wants chance to prove himself at Real Madrid

Sergio Canales wants the chance to establish himself at Real Madrid next season.

The former Racing Santander midfielder will join Real for preseason, but is likely to return to his old club on-loan.

But Canales, 18, says: "I will fight and I will do everything to convince the coach of Real I should stay. I'm not afraid of anything."

"But I will willingly accept it if they confirm I must return here to Santander. Ultimately, I'm fine and either way will be happy."
