Campo completes move to Bolton after medical

Bolton Wanderers completed the signing of Spanish defender Ivan Campo on a three-year contract on Friday after he finally passed a medical that had held up the deal on Thursday.

"I am absolutely thrilled that the deal has now been finalised and totally delighted that we have secured the services of Ivan for the next three years," said Bolton manager Sam Allardyce.

The 29-year-old, whose move had been put on hold due to a technicality, spent last season at Bolton on a year-long loan from Real Madrid and is now out of contract with the Spanish champions.

Campo started 30 league matches for Bolton and played a key role as the premier league club avoided relegation.
