Camacho wants Luisao at Real Madrid

New Real Madrid coach Jose Antonio Camacho has asked sports director Jorge Valdano to sign his Benfica centre-half Luisao.

The Brazilian international could be signed for a knockdown £3.5 million and will be Real's second defensive signing following the capture of Walter Samuel from AS Roma.

Luisao is set to be part of Brazil's squad for the upcoming Copa America.
