Camacho: Real Madrid Situation Is Sad

José Antonio Camacho, coach of Osasuna, and former Real Madrid player and coach, has declared that the situation at his old club is sad.

José Antonio Camacho returns to the Santiago Bernabéu this weekend, but this time he will not be in the home dugout.

The former coach of Real Madrid takes his Osasuna team to the Spanish capital, with all the build-up cast aside for off-the-pitch issues.

The resignation of Ramón Calderón has rocked the defending La Liga champions, and today, Camacho expressed his unhappiness at goings on at the club.

"It is sad, Madrid is the biggest club in the world, and it should have a little bit of tranquility," he told AS.

Camacho, a voice still respected by the Real Madrid fans, then declared his support to the fans of los Blancos, who, according to him, are wise, and, 'know what to do.'

He also admitted that it will be, 'special to return to the pitch of the Bernabéu,' but this time looking at it from a different view point.

Osasuna are currently bottom of the La Liga table, whilst Real Madrid are second, attempting to chase down Barcelona at the top.

During his time at Real Madrid, Camacho played over 400 games, largely playing at left-back.

After turning his hand to coaching he has coached a multitude of clubs, including Sevilla, Espanyol, Real Madrid, and now Osasuna.
