Calderon to dump Real Madrid's Capello for Schuster

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon is determined to dump Fabio Capello and replace him with Getafe coach Bernd Schuster, it has been revealed.

AS says despite Capello delivering a first Spanish title to Real in four years, the Italian will be shown the door by Calderon in preference to Schuster. The Real president won't make anything public until after the Copa del Rey final.

Schuster recently told the German Football Federation (DBF) magazine: "I am preparing to coach Real Madrid from next season. I have been getting ready for a long time and Madrid are in my plans."

It's reported that Capello has already accepted his fate and struck a compromise over the remaining two years of his existing Real contract. The Italian will be paid out for next season - £3.5 million - and wave what he is owed for season 2008/09.
