Butragueno's Miami trip frustrates Real Madrid players

Real Madrid vice-president Emilio Butragueno is courting controversy as he prepares to launch a summer soccer camp in Miami today.
 
Butragueno flew to the United States yesterday and will unveil a Real Madrid camp today with Miami Mayor, Manny Diaz. Over 600 local children will attend the soccer school between the 10th and 28th of July.

However, with Butragueno absent, transfer negotiations have ground to a halt, while players such as Ivan Helguera, Roberto Carlos, Thomas Gravesen and Antonio Cassano are also frustrated as they seek clarification over their Real futures.

Board members are reluctant to make decisions over the future of any player - or coach - with the club's presidential election to be held on July 2nd.
