Butragueno: Real Madrid played very well against Depor

Real Madrid sports director Emilio Butragueno insists the team played well in their defeat against Deportivo La Coruna on Sunday night.

"The team delivered a great attacking display," Butragueno told AS. "We began the encounter taking the game to Deportivo, but they took advantage of a counter attack through Luque and, although we have tried, we could not score."

"We had lot of possession and, as I said, we took charge of the game, but we were not able to break through their defense and they, in contrast, have scored a great goal. Luque has scored a goal worthy of this stadium."

"The defeat was a pity because the team did everything it could. We have opened up the game on the wings, but we needed that bit of luck. Just that."
