Butragueno: Real Madrid miss Ronaldo

Real Madrid vice-president Emilio Butragueno admits the team is less of an attacking threat without Ronaldo.

"A great team does not have to depend on a single player, but the truth is that he can score in any situation," Butragueno told Radio Marca.

"In a clogged-up game, Ronaldo can decide it. He is the most influential player in the world."

Butragueno also denied reports that he had offered his resignation as he wanted to retire: "To be with Real Madrid is a privilege and a professional honor."
