Butragueno: No Real Madrid deal yet for Cicinho

Real Madrid vice-president Emilio Butragueno has revealed they still haven't signed Sao Paulo fullback Cicinho.
 
The Brazil international is expected to join Real in January, but Butragueno says: "Nothing is yet fixed. We have an option, but are still considering him."

Butragueno also responded to criticism that there are too many Brazilians at Real Madrid.

"It is the first time that something like this has happened at Madrid, but we're speaking of great players," he said.

"And the fact that Luxa is Brazilian is simply a coincidence. For Robinho, we negotiated in November, long before knowing if Vanderlei would enter our plans."

"The coach will know how to handle the presence of so many of his compatriots."
