Butragueno already shaky at Real Madrid

Real Madrid sports director Emilio Butragueno is under pressure to keep his position - just three months into the job!

Diario Sport says Real president Florentino Perez is concerned that Butragueno is not up to the job after handing him the role following the departure of Jorge Valdano.

Butragueno will hold onto his job, but his duties will be wound back as Perez takes over transfer policy.

Perez's concerns with Butragueno began only days after promoting him to sports director when he was forced to contradict his director over the interest for Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira.
