Butragueno admits "difficult situation" for Real Madrid's Figo

Real Madrid vice-president Emilio Butragueno has hinted Luis Figo is likely to have played his last game for the club.
 
Figo is entering the final year of his contract at Real and wants first team assurances for next season. With Robinho set to arrive from Santos, its expected Real president Florentino Perez will grant the Portuguese a free transfer.

Manchester United are waiting to snap up the 32 year-old and Butragueno admitted yesterday: "I have been a player and I know how it is and how it can be a very difficult situation to accept."

"He is a winner and it has been a difficult situation. When you do not play it is not easy, but that always happens in teams."

"It also happened to me, but he is player of Real Madrid and has a special relationship with the president."
