Brazilians in town for talks

Representatives from Brazilian outfit Uniao San Joao de Araras are in the Spanish capital conducting business talks with Real Madrid.

South American agent Jose Luiz has drawn Real’s attention to a young striker who is currently making waves in the Brazilian league.

His name is Edu Sales, a 23-year-old centre-forward who may be called for a trial with the Spanish champions.

Real's talented left-back Roberto Carlos is probably the Brazilian club’s most famous son. The international full-back spent two years there before joining Palmeiras in 1993.
