Bosque at a loss to explain Real Madrid shock

Real Madrid trainer Vicente del Bosque says his players have acknowledged they are under-performing away from home.

Del Bosque rejected reports questioning the players' attitude towards the weekend's shock loss at Racing Santander.

"I believe a professional is someone who is responsible and dedicated, these qualities are in the Real Madrid players. I do not consider anything to do with laziness, lack of spirit or they not wanting to play."

Del Bosque admits Real's performance against Santander was one of the worst he's been in charge of.

"It is incomprehensible that the team played so badly in Santander, we did not dominate the game for a minute."

"In football there are some unexplainable things. I think that happened to us on Saturday."
