Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic is being linked with Real Madrid.

Hurriyet says Real have been monitoring Subotic since last season and have him on their shortlist as they seek a replacement signing for Pepe.

Subotic's versatility is attractive to Real, which are also keen to strengthen their fullback options in Janaury.

Dortmund rate the Serbia international in the £10 million class.
