Bolton's increasingly multinational squad could be set for another addition, Real Madrid's Ivan Campo.

Trotters boss Sam Allardyce admitted he is interested in the centre-back to bolster his team ahead of their second season in the Premiership.

He said: "We were interested in him last season but this is a situation where Real Madrid are letting him go."

"Depending on what the overall package is, I would be interested."
