Bolton sensation: Trials for ex-Real Madrid skipper Hierro

Bolton Wanderers have sensationally handed trials to former Real Madrid captain Fernando Hierro.

The ex-Spanish World Cup skipper has returned to Europe after a season in Asian football in Qatar.

Bolton were made aware of Hierro's availability by Trotters favourite Ivan Campo and have given him the chance to win a 12-month deal.
