Bolton's Move For Campo Is Still On

Sam Allardyce has insisted that Bolton's move for Real Madrid's Ivan Campo is still on the cards.

Reports had suggested that the 28-year-old wanted to stay at the Bernabeu and fight for his place, however Allardyce doesn't believe these reports were accurate.

He said: "I am concentrating on trying to bring Ivan Campo to the club. The chairman is in the process of speaking to Campo's agent this week.

"We feel the comments made on the internet, having spoken to Ivan's agent, is something that he has not said. We will see where we go in terms of making him an offer, now that we have got the all clear from Real Madrid to speak to him."
