Bolton boss won't give up on Brazilians Roque Junior, Julio Cesar

Bolton Wanderers boss Sam Allardyce hasn't given up on bringing Roque Junior to England.

The AC Milan defender is a loan target for Allardyce, who admitted last week that the Brazilian was indicating Bolton weren't big enough for him.

But big Sam's persuasive powers could still convince Roque Junior, who would be joining the likes of Youri Djorkaeff, Jay-Jay Okocha, Ivan Campo and Mario Jardel at the Reebok.

Bolton are also being linked with a last ditch bid for Real Madrid defender Julio Cesar.

The Brazilian's agents were reportedly in Bolton yesterday for talks. However, Real Valladolid are believed to have struck a 12-month loan deal with Madrid for the centre-half.
