Bitter Real Madrid chiefs turn on Beckham

Bitter Real Madrid are turning on want-away midfielder David Beckham after his world-record deal with LA Galaxy last week.
Beckham, 31, is furious Real coach Fabio Capello has still not told him his reasons for making him an outcast.

A close pal of Becks told The Sun: "David is very disappointed with the way Real have reacted."

"Capello still has not had the decency to explain to David his decision to cut him off from the first team. But he has been telling everyone else in the Press."

"David will not budge and will continue to give his all for the club. If Real want David to leave, David will not make the first move."

But Real chiefs hope Beckham demands to go now instead of training on his own with no games for the rest of the season.

If he cracks, the Spaniards can avoid paying up Becks' contract. They also want a £5million fee from the MLS if they can sell him this month.

Yet the ex-England skipper is holding out for Real to pay him off in full, including £2m in wages and £3m in bonuses.

Real president Ramon Calderon has blasted Becks for his conduct in agreeing a £128million, five-year American deal.

Calderon said: "Beckham has been leading us along for two months."

MLS chief Don Garber stated: "We want him as soon as possible. David wants to come sooner."
