Betis wing ace Joaquin happy with Real Madrid interest

Real Betis winger Joaquin insists the axing of Vanderlei Luxemburgo does not bring him any closer to signing for Real Madrid.
 
Joaquin is a favourite for Real president Florentino Perez, but the Madrid giant's pursuit cooled during Luxemburgo's spell as coach because of the Brazilian's refusal to play with wingers.

Joaquin declared: "Thanks to God, Madrid always has shown interest in signing me, that is something known by all."

"But while there is nothing clear, I will continue with my team, which is Betis."

"I do not think about Luxemburgo nor about anybody."
