Berlusconi has AC Milan deal in-place for Ronaldo

AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi will push for a deal with Real Madrid over Ronaldo on Wednesday morning.
 
Berlusconi is confident Milan will dispatch Red Star Belgrade in their Champions League qualifier tomorrow night and once the mission is complete, will press Real to sell Ronaldo.

A deal is already reportedly in-place, with Milan paying £10 million for the former World Player of the Year, who has agreed terms on a three-year contract worth a massive £18 million.

Berlusconi is determined to land a big-name to replace Andriy Shevchenko and will push through a deal for Ronaldo, despite the reservations of close friend Arrigo Sacchi.

Sacchi worked with Ronaldo while general manager at Real and Il Giornale says he told Berlusconi: "Doctor, I refer you to the opinion of (former Real vice-president) Emilio Butragueno, who said, 'Capello must have friends in Milan if he's about to solve this big problem'."
