Benfica ask Real Madrid about loan players

Benfica have asked Real Madrid about taking several of their players on-loan for next season.

During talks over the potential transfer of Benfica stopper Luisao to Real, the Portuguese club have enquired about defender Ruben and also young teammates Borja and Valdo.

Benfica want all three players on-loan next season, though Valdo is keen to stay on at Osasuna where he was outstanding on-loan last term.
