Beckham: We Had To Work Very Hard

Real Madrid midfielder David Beckham was delighted after winning his first ever Madrid derby against Atletico 2-0.

"It was a very attractive game, one which the fans have been able to enjoy," he said.

"In the second-half there was better play and in addition, we have defended at a good level. It is possible to be said that we gambled in an excellent way."

"After 20 minutes and we're 2-0 up, it was a little easier. But we still had to work very hard to maintain the advantage."
