Beckham wants to play out career with Real Madrid

England skipper David Beckham has declared he wants to play out his career at Real Madrid.

He said: "I want to finish my career at Real Madrid - I can see myself being here for many years to come."

"I feel I still have a lot to give as a footballer and I would like to do that at this, one of the best clubs in the world. I want to stay as long as they want me."

Beckham added: "The squad is coming out of a very complicated situation. Luxemburgo has brought some calm to a club that has changed its coach three times in the last two years, which is something I am not used to."

"We are working very hard and I'm sure our results will begin to reflect that."

Beckham's contract expires in 2007, but the 29-year-old revealed: "I'm ready to prolong my contract now because I want to stay here: Real is the club of clubs."

"The fans have always been very good to me. They've been very positive even when I haven't been playing well. I really appreciate that."

"I've got a house and my sons are happy at school. My wife is here every day and that helps. We're going to have our third child in Madrid, so he can play for Spain or England."

"In anyone's life there are always some problems you have to overcome, but now we are very united and very happy."
