Beckham v Gazza for Real Madrid debut

David Beckham could make his Real Madrid debut against England legend Paul Gascoigne.

The England skipper will begin his Real career in a friendly against the China Dragons, a select side of players from the Chinese League, in Beijing on August 2.

Gazza, who plays for China's Gansu Tianma, is a prime candidate to be named in the XI - so setting up the entertaining prospect of a showdown with Beckham.

The Dragons side will be selected from votes by Chinese fans and Gazza's crowd-pulling status means he has a real chance of making the team.
