Beckham to resist Spurs, Arsenal for new Real Madrid deal

Real Madrid midfielder David Beckham will snub offers to return to England at the end of this season.

Arsenal and Tottenham are among clubs to be interested in the England captain, but Beckham's form in recent weeks has dominated the Spanish press and Real are keen to open talks about a new contract.

The Sun says Becks has already met with Real chiefs to assure them he intends to stay in Spain.

The midfielder has thrived in recent weeks following coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo's decision to axe Luis Figo and place Beckham in his favoured position on the right-side of midfield.
