Beckham tells Chelsea: I'll cost £140M

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich will have to shell out £140 million if he wants to sign Real Madrid star David Beckham at the end of the season.

That is the buy-out figure in Beckham's Real Madrid contract. He said: "That is the only way it could happen this year."

"People keep saying I might leave in the summer but I don't know where that's coming from."
