Beckham rejects Arsenal for Real Madrid stay

David Beckham is set to commit the rest of his career to Real Madrid.
 
The People says the England skipper is set to resist overtures from Premiership clubs - including Arsenal and Spurs - and commit his future to the Bernabeu.

And Becks will agree his new deal regardless of who takes over as manager and president.

Beckham's advisers will start negotiations in Madrid while the England captain is on World Cup duty and he is expected to sign a new three-year deal when he returns from Germany at the end of England's campaign.

His decision ends any hopes Arsenal had of pulling off a major coup as they head to the Emirates Stadium.

And it now seems extremely unlikely that the Premiership will see Beckham amongst its playing ranks again.
