After a 90-minute medical, David Beckham signed his four-year Real Madrid contract at the Santiago Bernabeu yesterday.
Accompanied by wife Victoria and son Brooklyn, Beckham met with new Real coach and former United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz and director of sport Jorge Valdano.
He penned his deal under the watchful eye of a beaming Real president Florentino Perez.
"Thanks, president Perez," Beckham said. "Now, I am very happy."
He added, "I can't wait to get started."
Beckham then took to the Bernabeu pitch for a short passing session in front of the watching cameras.
