Beckham leaves Man Utd No2 Queiroz furious

Manchester United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz has turned on his former Real Madrid midfielder, David Beckham.

Claims by Beckham that Real's training regime left him out of shape for the Euros has infuriated Queiroz.

The Sun says the Portuguese reckons his own position as Real coach was fatally undermined by Becks' relationship with Bernabeu president Florentino Perez.

Queiroz is now back at Manchester United as Alex Ferguson's No 2 after being sacked by Real last month.

And he has told friends Beckham's fitness woes are the player's own doing.

He also revealed Beckham would not tell Queiroz of his absence but would instead call president Perez.
