Beckham happy with new Real Madrid coach Lopez Caro

David Beckham has welcomed the re-introduction of wingers to Real Madrid's system following the appointment of coach Juan Roman Lopez Caro.
 
Vanderlei Luxemburgo was routinely criticised over his push not to employ wingers in his formation and Beckham admits he is happy with the change.

"I like to play with wingers a lot. The new trainer is very good, although all this has been a change for us in the last two weeks," said Beckham.

"Now everything is very important for the team. We are working with great intensity and in a very serious way. We must win games and this already is happening."

"I like to play on the right and the centre and to participate in all the games. So I am happy whenever and wherever I can play."

"I find the new coach well. But I have not yet spoken with the coach. I only know him from what we have done during training."

"In three years and with so many trainers it has been a little difficult for me. It is not normal and I am not accustomed to it. Now, our coach is Lopez Caro, he is very intelligent and a very special person."
