Beckham Expected To Play Despite Back Injury

England captain David Beckham is expected to be fit for Sunday's friendly against Denmark at Old Trafford despite struggling with a back injury.

The midfielder picked up a knock in Real Madrid's 4-1 defeat to Seville on Sunday and has been told to rest for 72 hours by Real's doctor.

He will miss tonight's friendly against Real Valladolid, which marks their 75th anniversary, but is expected to play for England at the weekend.
