Bayern, Real Madrid target Hamann wants Liverpool stay

Didi Hamann has rejected reports he will quit Liverpool at the end of the season.

The German international is a target for Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, but he insists he wants to stay on Merseyside.

He said, "There is no way I want to leave Liverpool. I don't know what the reports this week have been about."

"I'm extremely happy here, I'm enjoying my football and I don't want to go anywhere. To suggest anything else is nonsense."

"My family is well settled in the area. We only recently moved house. Now I just want to get fit and do all I can for the team."
