Bayern Munich have suggested to Real Madrid that the two rivals play a match to raise funds for victims of Thursday's bomb blasts in the Spanish capital.
Bayern, who were knocked out of the Champions League by Real this week, said on Friday the game should be staged as soon as possible at Real's Bernabeu stadium.
Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said in a statement: "We are horrified and deeply abhor this terror. We stand shoulder to shoulder with the victims and their families."
Following Wednesday's Champions League match in Madrid, Bayern left the city on Thursday after bomb attacks on commuter trains killed nearly 200 people.
German sports news agency SID reported on Friday that Real and crosstown rivals Atletico Madrid were planning a match to raise funds for victims of the train blasts.
