Bayern Munich ‘irritated’ with 22-year-old star’s agent due to Real Madrid comments

Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies has remained a Real Madrid target for quite some time now.

The Merengues admire the Canadian star’s profile as a full-back and see him as the best option to take over the reins at left-back next season for the men in white.

Despite it being a very high-profile link with the player of a direct European rival, there has not been any element of secrecy to the links.

Real Madrid’s interest in Davies has become common knowledge, so much so that the player’s own entourage encourages it openly.

According to reports from BILD, the Bavarian administration are very irritated with Davies’ agent publicly ‘flirting’ about his client’s possible move to Real Madrid.

Unsurprisingly, they see it to be disrespectful to the player’s current club and loyalties.

"He played with Alaba for 3 years, they are friends, they talk all the time, whatever conversations they have together privately, Davies doesn’t share with me every information about it," Davies’ agent Nedal Huoseh said about a possible Real Madrid move earlier this month.

"But I’m sure David would like to play with him again. Maybe he told him," he added.

Further talking about Davies’ future, Huoseh added: "There is interest from many teams. But in the end, we will see what happens in the next few months."

"I’m sure Real Madrid could be one of the clubs that would like to sign Davies, along with several English Premier League clubs as well, they all want to have one of the best left-backs in the world."

All these statements about his future and the ‘flirtation’ with Real Madrid has seemingly not gone down too well at Bayern Munich, who have now been left irritated by Huoseh’s comments.

The Canadian star’s current deal with Bayern Munich runs until 2025. In the coming summer, he will thus have only one year left on his deal and the pressure will be on the Bavarians to sell him if he does not sign a new contract.

The German club, however, are keen on renewing his contract and tying down his future. A large part of his speculated move to Real Madrid, thus, depends on whether or not he renews. As it stands, he is their primary full-back target for next summer.
